Nani Brutally Roasted For "Publicity" Comment On Arshad Warsi Over Prabhas Controversy
Nani's comments on Arshad Warsi have not gone down well with some netizens.
Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi's recent comments about Prabhas' performance in Nag Ashwin's 'Kalki 2898 AD' has opened up a pandora's box and reactions are coming quick and fast. For the unversed, Arshad Warsi had said that Prabhas looked like a "joker" in his portrayal of Bhairava in the sci-fi epic. In the latest entertainment news, Telugu actor Nani has become the latest celebrity to slam Arshad Warsi's opinion, saying that the remarks should not be given any importance. During a press conference for his latest film 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram', Nani was initially asked about Arshad’s comments, and it was then that he didn’t mince his words while expressing his views.
“The person that you’re referring to, this must be the most publicity he has got in his life. You are unnecessarily glorifying an unimportant matter," said Nani.

However, this comment by Nani has not gone down well with netizens, and several users are calling out the 'Hi Nanna' actor.

Earlier, Arshad Warsi had spoken about how he felt disappointed after watching 'Kalki 2898 AD', which also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani.
During a recent interview with Samish Bhatia on his show 'Unfiltered', Arshad Warsi said, "Maine Kalki dekhi, mujhe toh nhi acchi lagi. Mujhe bahut takleef hoti hai jab. Amit ji was unbelievable. I can’t understand that man. I swear if we got the power he has, life ban jaae. He’s unreal."
However, criticising Prabhas, Arshad said, "Prabhas, I am really sad, why was he… he was like a joker. Why? I want to see a Mad Max. I want to see Mel Gibson over there. Tumne usko kya bana dia yaar. Kyu karte ho aisa? Mujhe nahin samajh mein aata."
For the unversed, 'Kalki 2898 AD', turned out to be a smash-hit, making more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide. It is also the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024.
