'Maa Inti Bangaaram', starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu, will be making its digital debut soon.

After enjoying a successful theatrical run, 'Maa Inti Bangaaram' is all set to make its digital debut. The movie, directed by Nandini Reddy, is produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Raj Nidimoru, and Himank Reddy Duvvuru under Tralala Moving Pictures. The Samantha Ruth Prabhu-led action drama opened in cinemas on June 19 and went on to become a major box-office success, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide. With the feat, the film also became the first female-led Telugu movie to achieve the milestone.

Viewers eager to stream the film can soon catch it on JioHotstar. However, the platform has confirmed that 'Maa Inti Bangaaram' will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam, while a Hindi version will not be released.

Making the announcement, JioHotstar on Instagram wrote, “July 17th Okokkodni kodathamu chudu... Prematho abbaaa (Watch the way we hit people…with love) #MaaIntiBangaaram streaming from July 17th on JioHotstar! #MaaIntiBangaaramOnJioHotstar.”

"I just subscribed with a Rs 150 pack, this one film makes it worth it," wrote one user.

"Can’t wait for this one," another wrote.

Alongside Samantha in the lead role, the ensemble cast includes Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Sreemukhi, Manjusha Mukkavilli, Gauthami, and others. The film's soundtrack has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

The story follows Swarna, played by Samantha, as she visits her husband Anirudh's family for the first time after two years of marriage. While trying to earn the acceptance of her new family – who constantly compare her to the seemingly perfect daughter-in-law Anasuya – Swarna's carefully buried past comes back to haunt her. The arrival of Karuna threatens to expose the secrets she has fought to keep hidden, forcing her to confront a violent chapter of her life in order to protect her future.

The action drama struck a chord with both critics and moviegoers, translating positive word-of-mouth into an impressive box-office performance. Crossing the Rs 100 crore milestone not only cemented its commercial success but also marked a historic achievement for Telugu cinema as the highest-grossing female-led film to reach the benchmark.

Reflecting on the film's success, Samantha previously shared that an exhibitor had doubted its prospects before release, questioning whether audiences would turn up for a heroine-centric film. According to the actress, the exhibitor believed viewers only accepted actresses in films headlined by male stars and dismissed the idea of a woman-led commercial entertainer finding success. The overwhelming response to 'Maa Inti Bangaaram', however, proved those assumptions wrong.
