Nora Fatehi made a powerful impact with her ‘Tonight Show’ debut as she performed her new song.
Nora Fatehi recently marked one of the most defining international moments of her career as she made her debut as a performer on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. The appearance marked her first-ever feature on the iconic American late-night talk show and reinforced her steady rise as a global entertainer. For this milestone, Nora took the stage to perform her newly released single, ‘What Do I Know (Just A Girl)’, created in collaboration with Jamaican singer-rapper Shenseea. The vibrant track, celebrated for its infectious beats and cross-cultural sound, has already begun capturing global attention.

Ahead of the episode’s telecast, the official BTS handle of Fallon Tonight announced her debut in a post that read, “TONIGHT: @norafatehi ft. @shenseea perform ‘What Do I Know? (Just A Girl)’! #FallonTonight”, giving viewers a glimpse into what to expect.
The song, written by Grammy-nominated songwriter Justin Tranter, highlights Nora’s evolving artistic journey with a more assured vocal presence and her trademark high-energy stage persona. It also stands out as the first major release under Anjula Acharia’s 5 Junction Records in partnership with Warner Records, signalling a powerful new chapter in Nora’s global music trajectory.
While professional praise continues to pour in, Nora recently addressed a wave of reports linking her to alleged drug-fuelled rave parties reportedly associated with a Mumbai-based trafficker.
Taking a strong stand, she slammed the media speculation on Instagram, calling the stories baseless, defamatory, and damaging. “I don’t go to parties… I’m constantly on flights… I’m a workaholic, I don’t have a personal life… I don’t associate myself with people like that,” she wrote, clarifying that her downtime is reserved for resting, travelling, or spending time with her childhood friends.
She ended her message with a clear warning: her name and image must not be attached to unrelated controversies. “Please refrain from using my name and image on situations that have absolutely NOTHING to do with me! This will come with a heavy, heavy price.”
Her statement came after reports claimed that she, along with Shraddha Kapoor and other Bollywood figures, had allegedly attended rave parties hosted by drug trafficker Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh. Shaikh, recently deported from Dubai, is accused of organising such events for Bollywood and fashion personalities, and reportedly claimed that Dawood Ibrahim’s nephew, Alishah Parkar, was present at some gatherings.
He is currently in the Anti-Narcotics Cell’s Ghatkopar unit’s custody. Authorities have said they are not ruling out questioning the celebrities whose names surfaced, although no formal summons have been issued.
Amid the chatter, Nora continues to remain active on the work front. She recently appeared in the dance track ‘Dilbar Ki Aankhon Ka’ from Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s film ‘Thamma’.
She was last seen in Netflix’s ‘The Royals’, featuring an ensemble cast including Ishaan Khatter, Bhumi Pednekar, Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Chunky Panday, and Vihaan Samat. Despite mixed reviews, the show was renewed for a second season.
Looking ahead, Nora has two upcoming films in the pipeline – the Tamil film ‘Kanchana 4’ and the Kannada action drama ‘KD – The Devil’.
