One of the biggest nights is upon us. The day is finally here. Golden Globes 2024 will be held on Monday morning (January 8) and we will finally get to see which film and series walks away with the most number of accolades. For the unversed, this is the first Golden Globes ceremony after the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) disbanded in 2023. The 81st edition of the ceremony will be hosted by comedian Jo Koy and the presenters list includes Michelle Yeoh, Will Ferrell, Angela Bassett, and Amanda Seyfried.
Golden Globes 2024 has also introduced two new key categories: 'Cinematic and Box Office Achievement' and 'Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television'.
'Barbie' has received the most number of nominations (9) when it comes to movies while Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' has received eight nods.
The other films which have earned nominations are Martin Scorsese's 'Killers of the Flower Moon', and Bradley Cooper's 'Maestro'.
When it comes to television, HBO's 'Succession' is in the lead with nine nominations.
