"Feel Like There...": Courteney Cox Says 'Friends' Co-Star Matthew Perry "Visits" Her After Death

Courteney Cox, who played the role of Monica Geller in 'Friends', has revealed that she still feels Matthew Perry's presence after his death.

Courteney Cox has revealed that she still feels Matthew Perry's presence after his death.

Fans were left shocked in October 2023 when 'Friends' actor Matthew Perry died at his Los Angeles residence at the age of 54. For the unversed, Matthew Perry is best known for his role as Chandler Bing in the uber-popular sitcom. In the latest entertainment news, Courteney Cox, who played the role of Monica on the show, has revealed that she still feels Matthew Perry's presence after his death. “I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. You know, he's just so funny. He is genuinely a huge heart, obviously struggled. I'm so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years," Courteney Cox said. 

"He visits me a lot, if we believe in that… I talk to my mom, my dad, Matthew – I feel like there are a lotta people that are, I think, that guide us. I do sense, yeah, I sense Matthew's around for sure," she added.

Speaking further, Courteney Cox said, "I'm just grateful that I had that opportunity to work with such wonderful people, and to live the life that I have now. That was my family. I mean, we went through everything. Those ten years were everything – they're my family."

Recently, Courteney Cox had celebrated 20 years of 'Friends' finale. Sharing a clip from the finale episode, the actress on Instagram wrote, "It’s been 20 years since the series finale of Friends. I don’t know how we were able to act through all the tears. Forever grateful."

For the unversed, Matthew Perry was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. 

Perry had gained worldwide recognition for his role as Chandler Bing on 'Friends'. 'Friends' ran for ten seasons from 1994 to 2004. He had also earned an Emmy nomination in 2002 for his performance. 

As per Variety, Matthew Perry grappled with a long struggle with substance abuse and it stunted his career.
