Alia Bhatt Stuns In White Jersey Dress Rooted In Fashion Legacy. See Pics, Video
Alia Bhatt stepped out in a timeless white archival look that blended minimalism with modern, understated glamour.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s fashion journey has always been defined by thoughtful evolution rather than trend-chasing. From playful, girl-next-door silhouettes to commanding couture moments, the actress has mastered the art of adapting her style persona with time and context. What stands out about Alia’s fashion sense is her instinct for restraint — she embraces minimalism when the moment demands it and lets craftsmanship, fit, and history take precedence over embellishment. Her recent appearances underline a growing preference for archival pieces and timeless aesthetics, signalling a confident maturity in her red-carpet and promotional wardrobe choices.
For a recent appearance, Alia Bhatt revisited fashion history in a white jersey dress from Gucci’s Fall/Winter 1996–97 collection, originally designed by Tom Ford. Taking to Instagram, Alia Bhatt shared stunning images of herself in the white jersey dress.

Celebrity stylist and filmmaker Rhea Kapoor also took to Instagram and shared a gorgeous video of Alia Bhatt in the white number.

The archival piece featured a sleek, floor-length slip dress crafted in soft jersey fabric, featuring delicate spaghetti straps, a clean straight neckline, and a fluid, body-skimming silhouette that embodied late-’90s minimalism.
A defining detail of the look was the iconic Gucci G-buckle belt, cinched firmly at the waist, adding structure and visual drama to the otherwise pared-down dress. The ensemble also features a subtle side cut, lending the look understated sensuality without disrupting its minimalist appeal.
Styled by Rhea Kapoor, the outfit paid homage to the era when Kate Moss first made the dress legendary on the runway, while still feeling modern on Alia.
Accessories were chosen with equal restraint and intent. Alia Bhatt carried the Gucci Bamboo 1947 mini bag, keeping the palette cohesive in soft ivory tones. Jewellery was kept elegant and classic with Tiffany & Co. pieces, including delicate earrings and minimal wrist accents that complemented the archival mood rather than competing with it. The wide metallic belt served as the statement accessory, anchoring the entire look.
Alia’s beauty look followed the same less-is-more philosophy. With makeup by Puneet B. Saini, Alia opted for a dewy, flawless base, softly bronzed cheeks, minimal eyeliner, natural lashes, and a muted nude lip that enhanced her features without overpowering them.
Her hair, styled by Amit Thakur, was pulled back into a sleek, polished bun, allowing the dress’s clean lines to take centre stage.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt has two exciting projects lined up. She will next appear in ‘Alpha’, a spy thriller helmed by Shiv Rawail, as part of YRF’s spy universe. The movie also stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.
She’s also part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, where she stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Alia Bhatt was last seen in Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra’, co-starring Vedang Raina.
