Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor recently grooved to their hit songs during an event in Dubai.
Bollywood power couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor turned heads in Dubai as they made a dazzling appearance at the launch of luxury developer DAMAC’s latest project, DAMAC Islands 2, on Wednesday. The duo, who were invited as special celebrity guests, left fans mesmerised not only with their fashion choices but also with their energetic stage presence during the event. Several videos from the night have been circulating online, showing the stars effortlessly charming the audience as they grooved to their biggest Bollywood hits.
In one clip, Alia can be seen dancing with the event host to her chartbuster ‘What Jhumka’ from ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’.

Moments later, Ranbir Kapoor joined her on stage and broke into his iconic moves from ‘Badtameez Dil’, the fan-favourite track from ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. Their chemistry and ease instantly lit up the stage, drawing cheers from the crowd.
For the Dubai event, Ranbir opted for a sharp, slim-fit midnight blue velvet tuxedo jacket, paired with a crisp white shirt, black trousers, tinted glasses, and black formal shoes. Alia, meanwhile, stunned in a vintage dress by iconic American designer Bob Mackie, featuring a nude silk base adorned with swirling patterns of pearls, sequins, beads, and rhinestones – a look that perfectly embodied old-world glamour with a contemporary twist.
Earlier in the day, the couple was spotted at Mumbai airport as they left for Dubai. Ranbir kept it effortlessly stylish in an all-black outfit, while Alia embraced comfort in an oversized sweatshirt and jeans, her hair styled in a chic half top-knot. The duo smiled and waved at the paparazzi before heading inside.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film ‘Love and War’, which will bring Ranbir, Alia, and Vicky Kaushal together on screen. Slated for release on August 14 next year, the film reportedly features a new language and ambience. Ranbir, who reunites with the filmmaker after 18 years, recently said, “I’m working with him again after so long, and he’s an even bigger master today.”
Meanwhile, Alia was last seen in Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra’, co-starring Vedang Raina, and is now gearing up for ‘Alpha’, set in the YRF Spy Universe. Ranbir, who last appeared in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s blockbuster ‘Animal’, is currently shooting for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’.
Alia and Ranbir, who dated for several years, married in April 2022 and welcomed their daughter Raha in November the same year. The couple surprised fans by making their first public appearance with Raha on Christmas 2023.
