Alia Bhatt Brings Friday Night Glamour In Bold Black Look. See Pics, Video
Alia Bhatt turned heads in an archival black halter-neck dress by Hervé Léger, styled with a diamond choker and soft glam makeup.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s fashion journey has been a masterclass in evolution – from fresh, girl-next-door charm to refined, global-red-carpet sophistication. Over the years, she has built a style identity that blends restraint with impact, favouring silhouettes that feel timeless rather than trend-led. Whether she is championing Indian designers or stepping into international archives, Alia’s looks often reflect a thoughtful balance between modern minimalism and classic glamour. Her style rarely relies on excess; instead, it draws power from clean lines, intelligent tailoring, and an intuitive sense of what flatters her frame.
For this appearance, Alia Bhatt slipped into an archival black dress from Hervé Léger’s Fall/Winter 1993 collection, styled by Rhea Kapoor. Taking to Instagram, Rhea Kapoor shared stunning images of Alia in the black gown.

The full-length halter-neck dress was crafted using the house’s iconic bandage construction, engineered to sculpt and contour the body rather than simply drape it. The silhouette followed a close-fitting column line from neckline to hem, creating a long, uninterrupted vertical flow that visually elongated the frame.
The neckline featured a softly plunging sweetheart shape with a gentle dip at the centre, adding sensuality without tipping into overt drama. Broad halter straps framed the shoulders and upper back, leaving the décolletage clean and the arms exposed. A subtle back slit introduced ease of movement while preserving the gown’s sleek, body-skimming structure. The absence of embellishment kept the focus firmly on fit, proportion, and form – hallmarks of Hervé Léger’s sculptural design language.
Accessories were deliberately minimal. Alia Bhatt paired the gown with a diamond-encrusted choker necklace by Mahesh Notandass, adding a soft shimmer that drew attention upward. Small diamond stud earrings from Rani Ek Jewels and a statement ring from Mehta Sons completed the jewellery story without competing with the dress. Her footwear remained understated, allowing the gown to remain the visual anchor.
Her beauty look mirrored the same restrained elegance. Hair was styled into a loose, softly textured updo with a centre part, leaving a few wispy strands around the face to soften the overall effect. Makeup leaned warm and luminous: feathered brows, rose-toned smoky eyes diffused across the lids, lightly flushed cheeks, and a softly contoured muted pink lip. The result was polished, sensual, and timeless – a look that let the archival gown speak while enhancing Alia’s natural softness.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt has two exciting projects lined up. She will next appear in ‘Alpha’, a spy thriller helmed by Shiv Rawail, as part of YRF’s spy universe. The movie also stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles.
She’s also part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, where she stars alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Alia Bhatt was last seen in Vasan Bala’s ‘Jigra’, co-starring Vedang Raina.
