The new Hindi film directed by Amar Kaushik, recently emerged as the highest-grossing Hindi film in India, after going past Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'. 'Stree 2' is now nearing the Rs 600 crore mark, and it will be the first Hindi film to go past this mark. For the unversed, 'Stree 2' released in cinemas on Independence Day 2024, and the film took just 34 days to go past the lifetime collection of 'Jawan' in the Hindi language.
'Stree 2's box office performance is all the more remarkable, considering it clashed with Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Vedaa'.
'Stree 2' is all set to receive another boost on Friday. With National Cinema Day scheduled for September 20, the new Hindi film is expected to witness another rise in its collections. The ticket prices on Friday will be available for Rs 99, across all cinemas in India.
