‘Article 370’, starring Yami Gautam and Priyamani in the lead roles, is performing decently well at the box office and could emerge as a surprise hit of 2024. The new Hindi movie, which released in cinemas on February 23, opened to favourable reviews from both critics and audiences. This positive word-of-mouth is reflecting in the box office collection as well. The new Hindi movie has already gone past the Rs 20 crore mark at the box office, after witnessing a fantastic Day 3.

As per early estimates posted by industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Article 370’ minted Rs 9.60 crore on Sunday, which was the third day of its release. The total nett domestic collection of ‘Article 370’ now stands at an impressive Rs 22.90 crore.

The new Hindi movie had opened to a collection of Rs 5.90 crore on Friday, and then the film minted Rs 7.40 crore on Saturday.

‘Article 370’ is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, while it has been bankrolled by ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ director Aditya Dhar.

In the newly-released film, Yami Gautam is playing an intelligence officer, who is tasked with restoring peace in Kashmir. For the unversed, the plot of the film revolves around the abrogation of Article 370, which revoked the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir.

‘Article 370’ also stars Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, and Kiran Karmarkar.

‘Article 370’ is not the only Hindi film that was released in theatres this week. On February 23, Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson-starrer ‘Crakk’ also released in cinemas.

‘Crakk’ minted Rs 2.40 crore on the third day of its release (Sunday). As per Sacnilk, the three-day total of the film now stands at Rs 8.80 crore. ‘Crakk’ had opened to more than Rs 4 crore on Friday. However, the film saw a dip in its collection over the weekend. For the unversed, ‘Crakk’ has received underwhelming reviews from critics.

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, which was released on February 9, is still managing to collect money. The new Hindi movie minted Rs 2.65 crore on Sunday, which was the 17th day of its release. As per Sacnilk, the nett domestic collection of the film now stands at Rs 73.55 crore.

Lastly, speaking of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor-starrer 'Fighter', the nett domestic collection of the film now stands at Rs 211.15 crore after the movie minted Rs 0.75 crore on Sunday, which was the 32nd day of its release.
