Yami Gautam's 'Article 370' Goes From Strength-To-Strength, Outperforms 'The Kashmir Files' In First Two Days
Yami Gautam's 'Article 370' continues to go from strength to strength.

'Article 370' starring Yami Gautam and Priyamani in leading roles, is continuing to go from strength to strength at the domestic box office. The new Hindi movie which was released in cinemas on Friday (February 23), opened to a collection of Rs 5.9 crore, and in the latest entertainment news, 'Article 370' witnessed a jump in collection on the second of its release, and going by the current trend, it is likely that the film will emerge as a box-office success.
For the unversed, 'Article 370' is directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale while it has been bankrolled by 'URI: The Surgical Strike' director Aditya Dhar.
'Article 370' minted Rs 7.50 crore on Saturday, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. As a result, the two-day nett domestic collection of the new Hindi movie now stands at an impressive Rs 13.4 crore.
It is important to mention that 'Article 370' is outperforming 'The Kashmir Files' at the box office, if one goes by the current box office trend. The Vivek Agnihotri film had collected Rs 12.05 crore after the first two days.
Speaking of 'Article 370', Yami Gautam plays the role of an intelligence officer in the film. For the unversed, the plot of the film revolves around the abrogation of Article 370, which revoked the special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir.
Apart from Yami Gautam and Priyamani, 'Arficle 370' also stars Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, and Kiran Karmarkar.
'Article 370' is not the only Hindi film that was released in theatres this week. On February 23, Vidyut Jammwal, Arjun Rampal, and Nora Fatehi-starrer 'Crakk' was also released in cinemas.
'Crakk' minted Rs 2.75 crore on the second day of its release. As per Sacnilk, the two-day total of the film now stands at Rs 7 crore.
Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya', which was released on February 9, is still managing to hold its ground. The new Hindi film minted Rs 2.35 crore on Saturday, which was the 16th day of its release. As per Sacnilk, the nett domestic collection of the film now stands at Rs 70.85 crore.
Lastly, we feel it is important that we tell you the status of Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor-starrer 'Fighter' as well. The nett domestic collection of the film now stands at Rs 210.45 crore, after 'Fighter' minted Rs 0.70 crore on Saturday, which was the 31st day of its release.
