Ranveer Singh seems to have it all! An enviable film career, an even better lineup of upcoming projects and biggest brand endorsements. And now, the Bollywood actor has left celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Virat Kohli and Alia Bhatt behind, in a new list, a sort of battle of the greats. Are you wondering which list are we talking about and who all are on it? Well, Ranveer Singh has surpassed star India cricketer Virat Kohli to become the most valued celebrity of 2022.
The latest Celebrity Brand Valuation report by Kroll features the top 25 stars from the world of entertainment and sports with the most brand value. Ranveer topped the list, with a brand value of USD 181.7 million (Rs 1500 crore).
While Ranveer Singh is at the top, closely following him with a brand value of USD 176.9 million is Virat Kohli at the second spot. Notably, the cricketer held the top spot for the last five years. However, what comes as a bit of shock is that SRK grabbed the 10th spot.

The other 15 celebs included Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Rohit Sharma, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani, Kareena Kapoor, Kartik Aryan, Hardik Pandya, Allu Arjun, Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, Neeraj Chopra, PV Sindhu, and Rashmika Mandanna.
With South Indian movies garnering a pan-India viewership, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna have become the first ever South stars to feature among India’s top 25 celebrities, with respective brand values of USD 31.4 million and USD 25.3 million.
The combined brand value of the top 25 celebrities for 2022 is estimated to be USD 1.6 billion. The Celebrity Brand Evaluation report by Kroll was released on March 21.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Rohit Shetty's ‘Cirkus’, which tanked at the box office. Recently, he finished wrapping the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The Karan Johar directorial also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
