In the latest entertainment news, it has been confirmed that SRK will be performing at the opening ceremony of Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024.
The announcement was made by the official handle of WPL on Wednesday evening.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), WPL's handle shared the picture of SRK, and wrote, "Get ready folks. It's none other than @iamsrk who will celebrate Cricket ka Queendom!"

Other than SRK, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kartik Aaryan, Tiger Shroff and Shahid Kapoor will also be performing at the opening ceremony of WPL 2024. The opening ceremony of WPL 2024 will be beginning at 6:30 PM IST on Friday, March 23.
The opening ceremony will be taking place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
For the unversed, last year, Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon and AP Dhillon had performed at the opening ceremony of WPL's inaugural edition.
Speaking of WPL 2024, the tournament will be held in Bengaluru and Delhi from February 23 to March 17. The tournament opener will be played between last year's finalists Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals.
The exciting T20 tournament involving five formidable teams will comprise 20 league matches and two knockout matches.
On the work front, a recent report from Pinkvilla states that SRK is gearing up for 'Pathaan 2'.
For the unversed, ‘Pathaan’ marked the return of SRK to the silver screen after a gap of more than four years, and the movie collected more than Rs 1,000 crore worldwide.
