Women’s Premier League 2024: Sidharth Malhotra and Kartik Aaryan will be performing at the opening ceremony.
The second edition of the Women's Premier League is nearly here. The tournament's 2024 edition will be starting on Friday with last year's finalists Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals taking on each other at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. However, before the first ball is bowled, there will be a grand opening ceremony, and fans can look forward to a mega spectacle. In the latest entertainment news, the organisers have confirmed that actors Kartik Aaryan and Sidharth Malhotra will be performing at the opening ceremony.
The official X handle of WPL wrote, "eh Kingdom nahin, Ab Queendom Hai! @SidMalhotra joins the Crown for his Queendom."
Talking about Kartik Aaryan, the handle wrote, "Yeh Kingdom nahin, Ab Queendom Hai! Join @TheAaryanKartik as he fights for the Crown for his Queendom."

For the unversed, last year, Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon and AP Dhillon had performed at the opening ceremony of WPL's inaugural edition.
Speaking of WPL 2024, the tournament will be held in Bengaluru and Delhi from February 23 to March 17.
The exciting T20 tournament involving five formidable teams will comprise 20 league matches and two knockout matches.
The Delhi leg of the league will start on 5th March, with the home team Delhi Capitals playing their first game at the Arun Jaitley Stadium against Mumbai Indians.
Speaking of Sidharth Malhotra, the actor will next be seen in 'Yodha' alongside Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. The film will be releasing on March 15, 2024. The teaser was unveiled on Monday.
On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Kabir Khan's 'Chandu Champion'. The movie will clash against Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency'. Both movies are slated to release in theatres on June 14, 2024.
