In the latest entertainment news, while speaking to podcast host Ranveer Allahbadia, Manoj Bajpayee has named Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma of Bollywood.
While speaking to Ranveer Allahbadia, Manoj Bajpayee said that actors like the late Irrfan Khan, Kay Kay Menon, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are the Sunil Gavaskar of acting.
Adding further, 'The Family Man' actor said, "Rajkummar Rao, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jatin Goswami, Gulshan Devaiah, Vikrant Massey, Vijay Varma and many others are the current day Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma of Bollywood.”
Earlier, while speaking to Pinkvilla, Manoj Bajpayee had also opened up on the raging insider versus outsider debate that is prevalent in Bollywood.
"Mujhe humesha lagta raha ki I have to be so good ki jis din mujhe ek mauka mila toh mai usse chakka marunga. Itna badhiya hona hai mujhe apne kaam mein. Mujhe bahut behetreen hona hai taaki jab mujhe woh opportunity mile toh usko main aur kaam mein convert kar paun,” he said.
Coming back to Manoj Bajpayee's 'Bhaiyya Ji', the film is another collaboration between the seasoned actor and the award-winning team of 'Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai', including director Apoorv Singh Karki, producer Vinod Bhanushali, and writer Deepak Kingrani.
For the unversed, 'Bhaiyaaji' is based on the story of a man who decides to stand up for his family and seek revenge for the wrong things being done to his loved ones.
