Kangana Ranaut's remarks against a "nepo kid" have caused quite a stir on social media.

Kangana Ranaut, who was last seen in 2023-film 'Tejas', has a knack of making headlines by passing controversial statements. The actress says whatever she wants to do, and for this quality, she has a lot of fans while some criticise her for the same. Over the years, Kangana Ranaut has time and time again taken potshots at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and it looks like, the actress has once again taken a sly dig at the 'Animal' actor.

In the latest entertainment news, Kangana Ranaut reshared a video on Instagram Stories, in which a fanpage had praised the acting range of Manoj Bajpayee, who has starred in several critically acclaimed projects over the last two-three years.

In the video, Manoj Bajpayee's acting range was depicted, and the clip contains actor's scenes from 'Aligarh', 'Love Sonia', 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'The Family Man', 'Gulmohar', 'Killer Soup', and 'Satya'.

Sharing the video, Kangana Ranaut on Instagram Stories wrote, "When they call some nepo kid the best actor, show them this and tell them, isko best acting bolte hai, try next lifetime," Kangana wrote on Instagram Stories.

Earlier this year, Ranbir Kapoor was awarded Best Actor by Filmfare for his performance in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal'.

For the unversed, 'Animal' released in cinemas on December 1, 2023, and the film which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri and Anil Kapoor, minted more than Rs 900 crore at the worldwide box office, despite receiving flak for glorifying toxic masculinity.

Earlier, Kangana Ranaut had criticised Ranbir Kapoor’s latest film ‘Animal’, though she didn't name the movie. However, she talked about a particular line and it made it clear, that she is talking about 'Animal'.

Taking to X, Kangana Ranaut said that viewers flock to theatres to watch “women beating films where they are treated like sex objects and asked to lick shoes”. She also said that it is “deeply discouraging” for her as she has been doing woman empowerment films.

In ‘Animal’, there is a scene where the film's lead character Rannvijay (Ranbir Kapoor), asked Zoya (Triptii Dimri) to lick his shoes to prove her love for him.

Coming back to Kangana Ranaut, ‘Tejas’ was her consecutive box office disaster. Baring her 2019 release ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, her films since ‘Katti Batti’ in 2015 have been box office duds.

Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in the 2024 Hindi movie ‘Emergency’. In the film, directed by Kangana Ranaut, she will play the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film is slated to release in cinemas on June 14, 2024.
