Virat Kohli melted hearts online after new photos from a family outing in the UK showed the cricketer enjoying precious moments with son Akaay and wife Anushka Sharma.
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s latest viral moment has nothing to do with the cricket pitch. The sports icon was recently spotted enjoying a picturesque family day out in the UK with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, their children, and friends. While the couple's appearances always make waves online, it was Virat’s adorable piggyback ride for his son, Akaay, that truly stole the show and left fans collectively saying, “aww”.

One particularly endearing photograph, set against a lush green backdrop, captured a precious father-son moment. Dressed casually in a black shirt paired with light-coloured trousers, Virat was seen holding little Akaay close in his arms as the duo enjoyed a quiet stroll across the lawn.

In another captivating image from the day, the cricketer was seen beaming with sheer joy as he gave his son a playful piggyback ride. Respecting the couple's well-known boundaries, Akaay’s face remained completely hidden in both photographs. A third picture from the sunny outing showed Virat and Anushka from behind, engaged in a relaxed conversation with their friends at the park.
These adorable snapshots of Virat soaking up dad life sent fans into an absolute frenzy. Social media timelines were quickly flooded with heart emojis, aww-filled reactions, and immense praise for the star athlete. One fan beautifully captured the sentiment, writing, “Family time well deserved while he recovers for the upcoming series.” Another swooned, “Akaay is growing up with a legend, but to him, he's just Dad.”
The internet couldn't get enough of the duo, with one user noting, “Virat Kohli is enjoying time with family in London,” and another affectionately adding, “Cheeku hanging out with chota cheeku.” The praise continued pouring in, with comments like, “VIRAT KOHLI WITH HIS SON AKAAY. Beautiful pictures of the Day!” and “Kohli saab spotted enjoying quality family time at a UK park. Pure bliss with his loved ones away from cricket. These moments are everything.” Many simply hailed him as the ultimate “family man.”
The couple's love story is just as beloved as their family outings. Anushka and Virat first met around 2013 on the sets of a commercial they were shooting together. After dating for almost four years, the power couple tied the knot in Italy in December 2017. They welcomed their first child, daughter Vamika, in January 2021, and on February 15, 2024, they became parents to their son, Akaay. They have always remained very private about their personal life, strictly enforcing a no-photography policy for their children. Following Akaay's birth, rumours heavily circulated that the family has shifted their base to London, though there has been no official confirmation regarding the speculated move.
On the professional front, Anushka has been away from the silver screen for some time. Her last full-length theatrical release was the 2018 film ‘Zero’, directed by Aanand L Rai and co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, which unfortunately failed to perform well at the box office.
Since then, she made a brief appearance in the song ‘Ghodey Pe Sawaar’ from her production venture, ‘Qala’. Fans are eagerly awaiting her return in ‘Chakda Xpress’, a biopic based on the life of former cricketer Jhulan Goswami. Although she finished filming the project in 2022, there is currently no word on the film's release date.
