Tamannaah Bhatia Recalls Salman Khan’s Intense Rehearsals, Shares Fond Memories With SRK
In a recent interview, actress Tamannaah Bhatia reflected on her memorable collaborations with Bollywood’s biggest icons – Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently took a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reflecting on her interactions with Bollywood’s biggest icons – Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. In a new interview, the Indian actress opened up about sharing the stage with Salman during Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded in Dubai and shooting an ad with Shah Rukh, calling both experiences unforgettable. As she reacted to photos of those moments, Tamannaah offered rare behind-the-scenes anecdotes that revealed her admiration for their work ethic, aura, and impact on her journey.
During her chat with The Lallantop, Tamannaah was shown a photo of her dancing alongside Salman Khan during their Dubai tour performance of ‘Munni Badnaam’.
Her reaction was instant, “The one and only Salman.” She recalled watching him rehearse tirelessly for over two and a half hours, without a break.
“It’s a picture from Dubai. He is so inspiring. When I saw him on the tech rehearsal, he was on the stage without stopping for two and a half hours,” she said.
Tamannaah added, “The music was on, other people were entering and leaving the act, he was continuously there, I don’t know how. To stand on the stage for so long, it needs a lot of energy. When he did the tech, I understood that it’s such a long process.”
Speaking of Shah Rukh Khan, Tamannaah Bhatia’s face lit up when shown a photo from their ad film shoot. For the unversed, Tamannaah collaborated with SRK on an ad film for an online clothing brand, as well as a commercial for another brand’s ethnic wear collection.
When displayed a picture of them, she instantly smiled and said, “The one who has made us know what love is. I remember that we shot an ad film and Shah Rukh took a photo with each and every person. There were around 200 people on the set on that day; he took a picture with everyone.”
On being asked why she refers to Ajay Devgn as “sir” but not Shah Rukh Khan, she explained that her respect for Ajay stems from childhood memories.
“When I met Ajay, I have a memory from when I was young. Humesha uss age mein, vo point vahin par atak jaata hai. I have a memory of him from there, that’s why I call him ‘sir’. I worked with Shah Rukh much later,” she said.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia was last seen in a special dance number from Ajay Devgn’s thriller ‘Raid 2’, which released in cinemas on May 1, 2025.
Prior to this, she featured in ‘Odela 2’, the sequel of the 2022 film ‘Odela Railway Station’. Directed by Ashok Teja, it released in theatres on April 17.
Tamannaah Bhatia now has several projects in the pipeline – ‘No Entry 2’, ‘Vvan - Force of the Forrest’ and ‘Daring Partners’.
