Earlier, the makers had unveiled the teaser of the film and going by it, the movie promises to be an action-packed ride for Bhai fans.

The teaser begins with Salman’s character Sikandar entering a room with statues of Samurai on either side. The samurais then appear to come to life.

They later corner Salman Khan's character, but staying true to his nature, Bhai uses shotguns to take them out one by one. The music, which began with a guitar riff, transitioned to rap and ended with bhangra beats.

The teaser was supposed to be released on the occasion of Salman Khan's 59th birthday. However, it was delayed by a day in honour of the late Priem Minister Manmohan Singh.

On Eid 2024, Salman Khan had announced ‘Sikandar’. Revealing the film's title on Instagram, Salman Khan posted, “Iss Eid 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' aur 'Maidaan' ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo. Wish u all Eid Mubarak.”

Salman was last seen in a cameo in Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby John’. Prior to that, he appeared in a cameo role in Rohit Shetty's ‘Singham Again’ as Chulbul Pandey. The action-drama was released on Diwali and starred Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff.

On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna can currently be seen in 'Chhaava', alongside Vicky Kaushal. If 'Sikandar' emerges as a success story, then it would be the fifth straight hit for Rashmika after 'Varisu', 'Animal', 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' and 'Chhaava'.
