“We Just Got…”: Talwiinder Reacts To Dating Rumours With Disha Patani
Talwiinder broke his silence on dating rumours with Disha Patani, saying the two are still getting to know each other.
Bollywood actress Disha Patani recently found her personal life back in the spotlight after sparking dating rumours with singer Talwiinder Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Talwiinder. The speculation gained momentum after the two were spotted together at Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben’s wedding celebrations, prompting chatter about a possible romance. Now, Talwiinder has finally addressed the rumours in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India. Responding to questions about his alleged relationship with Disha, Talwiinder clarified that the attention came unexpectedly.
“We just got to know each other just before the wedding, and all of this attention caught us off guard. We don’t want to give in to the pressure or the rumours. We are still discovering ourselves, still figuring out ourselves. I would just like to leave it at that because if they’re going to try to spread rumours, I am going to let the rumours be rumours,” he said.
When asked if his perspective on love and relationships has changed, the singer offered a poetic response, saying, “I fall in love every day, I am falling in love right now.”
Disha Patani and Talwiinder first set off dating speculation when they were seen spending time together during the wedding festivities of Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon and singer Stebin Ben in Udaipur. A week later, the rumours intensified after the duo were spotted walking hand in hand in front of a live audience at Lollapalooza India 2026, leading many fans to believe they were subtly making their relationship public.
Prior to this, Disha Patani was in a long-term relationship with Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The two reportedly parted ways in 2022 but are said to have remained on cordial terms since.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Disha will next be seen in a special appearance in ‘O Romeo’, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. The film stars Shahid Kapoor in the lead, alongside Triptii Dimri, Vikrant Massey, Avinash Tiwary, and Nana Patekar. The film is slated for a theatrical release on February 13.
Talwiinder, meanwhile, began his musical journey by independently recording and releasing songs on platforms like Spotify and YouTube, where he shared original tracks as well as covers, including ‘Phir Mohabbat’.
He rose to widespread prominence in 2022 with viral hits such as ‘Kammo Ji’, ‘Dhundhala’, and ‘Funk Song’, all of which gained massive traction on Instagram. In 2024, the singer released his debut album ‘Misfit’, featuring 13 tracks by various artists, further cementing his place in the indie music scene.
