The festive season just got a whole lot brighter for Bollywood fans. Shraddha Kapoor has officially kicked off the Diwali celebrations by dropping stunning new posters for her highly anticipated biographical drama, ‘Eetha’. The actress took to Instagram on Dhanteras to share the visual treats, and it is safe to say she has left the internet utterly mesmerised. In the first poster, Shraddha embodies a breathtaking, goddess-like avatar. She is dressed in a traditional pink and cream Maharashtrian Nauvari saree, adorned with heavy, intricate gold jewellery and a majestic crown.

Posing gracefully on a traditional pedestal, she smiles against a glowing, ethereal backdrop featuring snow-capped mountains and a serene river landscape.

The visual spectacle continues in the second poster. Here, Shraddha maintains her regal attire but strikes a poised, classical dance mudra, perfectly hinting at the artistic roots of her character. The warm, divine lighting gives both posters a mythic quality that immediately commands attention.

As shown in her Instagram post, the actress paired the grand reveal with a festive caption: "Yeh Diwali, Eetha wali! Wishing you all a Happy Dhanteras!". Fans immediately flooded the comment section, passionately declaring "GOD IS A WOMAN" and referring to her as a "Goodesss".

The aesthetic brilliance of the posters aligns perfectly with the epic scale of ‘Eetha’. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films alongside Kathputli Creations, the film is slated for a massive theatrical release on December 4, 2026. The movie is a biographical drama that tells the extraordinary real-life story of Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar, one of Maharashtra’s most legendary Tamasha and Lavani performers. Shraddha takes on the titular role, sharing the screen with a stellar cast that includes Randeep Hooda, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Siddharth Jadhav.

However, the road to release hasn't been entirely without bumps. Following the release of the film's trailer, Shraddha faced a wave of online criticism regarding her Marathi accent and dialogue delivery. Many netizens questioned whether her pronunciation did justice to the iconic Maharashtrian cultural figure she portrays.

Never one to sweat the small stuff, Shraddha recently addressed the trolling head-on during an 'Ask Me Anything' session on social media. When a fan asked how she handles the negativity, her response was brilliantly unfiltered.

"I actually don't handle criticism. What's there to handle in that?" Shraddha candidly stated. "I can't even handle my WhatsApp. I don't even have a manager, nor am I affiliated with any agency. My friends, directors, and producers keep scolding me for not checking my phone."

She further emphasised that her sole priority is her craft, not the digital noise. "I'm not interested in handling any criticism. All I want to do is work, and more and more work. That's it."

With ‘Eetha’ promising to be a landmark performance in her career and a visual treat for audiences, Shraddha is clearly letting her work do the talking. As December approaches, the box office will ultimately decide if this lavish biopic hits all the right notes.
