'Heeramandi' actor Taha Shah met his "lifelong idol" Tom Cruise in London.
Taha Shah Badussha, who has become a heartthrob, ever since starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's OTT debut series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', recently met his "lifelong idol" Tom Cruise. In the latest entertainment news, Taha Shah has taken to Instagram, to share a video in which he can be seen visiting a studio in London, and he also spoke about his plans to work abroad. This happened soon after he shared a picture with 'Top Gun' actor Tom Cruise. "Pinch me! Just met my lifelong idol. The one and only Tom Cruise! @tomcruise," Taha Shah wrote on Instagram.

For the unversed, Tom Cruise is reportedly in London to attend the world premiere of 'Twisters', starring Glen Powell. Tom Cruise and Glen Powell had worked together in the 2022 film 'Top Gun: Maverick'.
Taha also shared a video with British producer Munsur Ali, in which he said, “We are going to be working together on something very soon, something that is more international.”
Speaking of 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaaar', the series also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sanjeeda Shaikh, and Sharmin Segal.
The series met with polarising reactions. However, it managed to generate phenomenal viewership. Recently, 'Heeramandi' was also renewed for Season 2 by Netflix.
For the unversed, the first season of 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar', spans from 1920 to 1947. The first season is set in the Heeramandi district of Lahore, British India, the milieu of the tawaifs.
The first season was achieved after an intense production process that spanned 350 shooting days, across three years.
