Stree 2’, starring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and and Pankaj Tripathi, is one of the most awaited Hindi movies of 2024. And fans cannot wait for the film to release in cinemas on August 15, 2024. Ahead of the upcoming release, the film’s team is leaving no stone unturned to raise excitement among the masses for ‘Stree 2’. Recently, Shraddha Kapoor re-shared a hilarious meme, featuring a crossover of ‘Stree 2’ and her father Shakti Kapoor.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Shraddha Kapoor shared a photo that featured a billboard with her poster from the movie. The text on it read, “Stree ki shakti uski choti mein hai aur aapki?”

The Instagram post also had another billboard that featured Shraddha’s picture with her father Shakti Kapoor and it read, “Kya shakti shakti laga rakha hai, iss Stree ka baapu hai Shakti.”

The posters and teaser of the highly-awaited ‘Stree 2’ have kept fans excited for the horror-comedy. Adding more excitement amongst fans, the trailer of the film was released recently.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, ‘Stree 2’ will mark the fifth movie in the Maddock Supernatural Universe. ‘Stree 2’ is a sequel to Amar Kaushik's 2018 film ‘Stree’.

The plot of 'Stree', which was released in cinemas in 2018, revolved around a witch who abducts men at night when they are alone and only leaves their clothes behind.

‘Stree’ opened to wide critical acclaim and emerged as a box office hit. The music of the film also drew a lot of attention, with ‘Milegi Milegi’ and ‘Kamariya’ becoming raging chartbusters.

Made on a budget of around Rs 20 crore, the movie went on to do a domestic box office business of more than Rs 125 crore.
