Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was recently seen visiting the residence of politician Ashish Shelar to seek blessings during the ongoing Ganpati celebrations. However, the actor’s visit quickly turned chaotic as fans swarmed the venue, making it nearly impossible for him to navigate through the sea of people. A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, capturing a tense moment between Salman and his driver. In the clip, a massive crowd of fans can be seen surrounding the actor's car, desperate for a glimpse of the superstar.

The sheer volume of people left barely any room for the vehicle to maneuver, while Salman’s security detail struggled to maintain control. Amid the frenzy, as the driver attempted to inch the car forward, a fan’s foot was allegedly caught under one of the tires. In the background of the video, paparazzi can be heard frantically urging the driver to back up as the injured fan cried out in pain.
Visibly agitated by the situation, Salman was seen hitting his driver’s hand and appearing to scold him. He then quickly instructed the driver to move the car away from the surging crowd as the scene threatened to spiral further out of control.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions across social media. Some netizens were quick to label Salman’s actions toward his driver as “rude,” “hypocrite,” and “egoistic”. However, many fans jumped to the actor's defense, arguing that his frustration was justified given the circumstances.

One supporter commented, “This video make me proud as a Fan of Salman Bhai.” Another added, “He is the most humble superstar,” praising him for taking the “right action” in a high-pressure situation.
Even before the incident with the car, the crowd situation had been overwhelming. Fans went wild trying to get close to the actor, prompting Salman to fold his hands in a polite request for them to make way. When his pleas went unheard, a frustrated Salman eventually had to push through the mob to reach his vehicle.
Despite the chaos, another touching video emerged from the event showing Salman’s softer side. As his security team tried to manage the aggressive crowd, a young child managed to approach the actor for a handshake. Salman immediately obliged, stepping in to stop his security guards from pushing the child away, and ensured the young fan was safely escorted out of the fray before getting into his car.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy hosting ‘Bigg Boss 20’. He is also shooting for his highly anticipated action thriller ‘SVC63’, directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film, which marks his first on-screen pairing with South Indian actress Nayanthara, is slated for an Eid 2027 release. He is also attached to ‘Maatrubhumi’, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, though the film's release date remains unconfirmed following a postponement.
