Saif Ali Khan has returned to work.

Saif Ali Khan was caught in the middle of a huge storm after he was stabbed by an intruder at his Bandra residence in a burglary attempt. The actor had to undergo emergency surgery. After being in treatment for several days, he was discharged from Lilavati Hospital. The Bollywood star is now fit and fine. He has finally returned to work and pictures from his yet-untitled project are now going viral on social media, projecting him in a completely different avatar.

In the now-viral images, Saif Ali Khan can be seen looking dapper, sporting a classic moustache and a sleek hairdo. He can be seen wearing a grey t-shirt and matching track pants.

The Bollywood star rounded off his look with a pair of sunglasses and white sneakers. As per Hindustan Times, Saif Ali Khan is shooting at the same location where he filmed his first shot for his debut film, ‘Parampara’ in 1993.

On January 16, an intruder stabbed Saif Ali Khan multiple times inside his home, leaving him severely injured. Speaking to Bombay Times recently, he recalled how his kurta was drenched in blood following the attack. In a desperate attempt to get medical help, Kareena, along with their children—Taimur and Jeh—ran downstairs, frantically searching for an auto or cab to rush him to the hospital.

Detailing the moments before receiving medical aid, Saif Ali Khan shared, “I said, I kind of feel some pain. There’s something wrong with my back. She said – you go to the hospital and I’ll go to my sister’s house. She was making calls frantically – but nobody was up. And we looked at each other, and I said, ‘I’m fine. I’m not going to die.’ And Taimur also asked me – ‘Are you going to die?’ I said, ‘No.’”

The Bollywood star sustained injuries to his neck, back, and arm during the attack. Despite his young age, Taimur remained composed and insisted on going with Saif to the hospital. Saif shared, “He was absolutely composed. He was fine. He said, ‘I’m coming with you.’ And I thought, if something happens, I was getting a lot of comfort just from looking at him at that time. And I didn’t want to go alone.”

He continued, “My wife sent him knowing what he would do for me. Maybe it wasn’t at the moment, it was the right thing to do. I felt good about it.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Saif will be next seen in ‘Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins’. The movie also stars Jaideep Ahlawat. It promises a mix of action, suspense, and mind games as it follows the tale of a master conman orchestrating daring robberies. The Siddharth Anand directorial will release on Netflix this year.
