On Eid 2024, Salman Khan had announced ‘Sikandar’, which will be directed by AR Murugadoss.

Revealing the film's title on Instagram, Salman Khan posted, “Iss Eid 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' aur 'Maidaan' ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo. Wish u all Eid Mubarak.”

AR Murugadoss made his Hindi film debut with ‘Ghajini’, starring Aamir Khan and Asin Thottumkal. He also helmed Akshay Kumar's film, ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’.

For years, Salman Khan has been releasing films on the occasion of Eid. Salman Khan’s love affair with Eid started in 1997 with ‘Judwaa’. And since then, he has released several blockbusters on Eid – ‘Dabangg’, ‘Bodyguard’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Bharat’, and ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’

However, this year, he broke the pattern as Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Maidaan’ released in theatres. But Salman Khan made sure to make his fans’ Eid special with the announcement of ‘Sikandar’.

Salman Khan was last seen in the action thriller film ‘Tiger 3’, which performed well at the box office. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the film also starred Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.

Coming back to Rashmika Mandanna, she made her Bollywood debut with ‘Goodbye’ in 2022. She subsequently starred in ‘Mission Majnu’ and ‘Animal’.

She will also be seen in ‘Chaava’ opposite Vicky Kauhsal. The actress is gearing up for ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ opposite Allu Arjun in Telugu and ‘Kubera’ opposite Dhanush in Tamil.
