Speaking to Mashable India, Rajkummar Rao said, "Shah Rukh sir ne ek baat sikhayi thi mujhe, ‘Beta kabhi bhi ghar lega na, toh aukaat se thoda zyaada lena. Kyunki phir na, upar wala bhi dekhta hai aur tu khud bhi zyada mehnat karega. I found this very fascinating.”
"Having a home in the city is of course a dream and we have built it lovingly, me and Patralekhaa," he added.

Rajkummar Rao recently bought a lavish home in Mumbai from Janhvi Kapoor, worth Rs 44 crore. The Bollywood actress had earlier purchased the property in December 2020 for Rs 39 crore.
As per Indian Express, Rajkummar Rao's new house spans over 3,456 square feet.
Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor will soon be co-starring in 'Mr & Mrs Mahi'. The movie is slated to be released in cinemas on May 31, 2024.
Rajkummar Rao also has 'Stree 2' in the pipeline. The Amar Kaushik-directorial also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana.
The actor is currently filming 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' with Triptii Dimri.
