Indian actress Pooja Hegde is officially another year older. And instead of throwing a massive, star-studded bash, the actress chose to ring in her special day with an idyllic, laid-back getaway filled with sunshine, sweet treats, and scenic views. Taking to her Instagram handle, Pooja treated her fans to a heartwarming birthday dump that perfectly captured the simple joys of travelling and unwinding. Channelling her inner ‘Star Wars’ fan, Pooja captioned the carousel post, “My birthday, it is”.

The quirky phrasing was directly inspired by a hilarious greeting card she received, which she showed off in one of the slides. Placed right against a tan leather Louis Vuitton travel bag adorned with animal and palm tree prints and the number "10", the cute Baby Yoda (Grogu) card read, “YOUR BIRTHDAY IT IS OLD YOU HAVE BECOME”.

The celebration kicked off with a sun-drenched video of the birthday girl taking a leisurely stroll down a picturesque cobblestone street lined with classic brick buildings and a tranquil canal. Sporting a chic short bob haircut, flushed cheeks, and a cozy green-and-white striped knitted cardigan with a contrasting white collar, Pooja beamed at the camera as she soaked in the crisp autumn air.

She followed up the clip with a couple of stunning snapshots from the same outing – one where she was seen posing gracefully right beside the shimmering canal water with a pastel yellow quilted Chanel bag slung over her shoulder, and another playful indoor selfie against an exposed brick wall where she flashed a cheeky wink and a pout. In another candid frame from her day out in the green sweater, she was clicked sitting at an outdoor cafe table under a striped awning, resting her chin on her hand and gazing off into the distance while wearing stylish dark-rimmed glasses with a refreshing drink on the table.
Of course, no birthday vacation is complete without an outfit change and plenty of indulgence.
