The creation, named ‘Terracotta Flow’, beautifully combined the elegance of a traditional saree with the structure of a contemporary gown. Crafted from silk taffeta, the pre-draped ensemble featured a fitted corset-style bodice with delicate spaghetti straps, sculpted cups and a sweetheart neckline. The structured upper half accentuated her waist, while the glossy fabric added a luxurious sheen.

The gown followed her figure through the waist and hips before opening into dramatic, flowing drapes. Its standout feature was the attached saree-inspired panel that fell gracefully from one shoulder, cascading across the front in generous folds. Contrasting golden-yellow accents appeared along the underside of the drape, introducing another dimension to the rich rust colour. The voluminous fabric created beautiful movement, giving the outfit a sculptural appeal. Rather than relying on heavy embroidery, the design allowed its architectural silhouette and lustrous finish to command attention.

Pooja Hegde elevated the outfit with striking gold-toned jewellery by Ritika Sachdeva, including oversized textured statement earrings, stacked bangles and bracelets, and a bold floral ring. She skipped a necklace, allowing the sculpted neckline to remain prominent.

Her short, dark bob was styled in tousled, side-parted waves. For makeup, she chose softly defined eyes, dark eyeliner, fluttery lashes, warm blush, luminous skin and muted terracotta lips.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Pooja Hegde was last seen alongside Vijay in ‘Jana Nayagan’. Co-starring Mamitha Baiju and Bobby Deol, the film was slated for a January 9 theatrical release but was stalled due to a delay by Central Board of Film Certification. It finally arrived in theatres on July 23.

Before this, she was seen in David Dhawan’s ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. The movie, co-starring Varun Dhawan and Mrunal Thakur, released in theatres on June 5.

Pooja Hegde will be next seen in ‘Kanchana 4’, co-starring Raghava Lawrence and Nora Fatehi.
