Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra is arguably one of the greatest athletes India has ever produced. Neeraj Chopra ended up winning a silver medal at the ongoing Paris Olympics, and he only came second to Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem, who registered a massive throw of 92.97m, which was an Olympic record. In the latest entertainment news, Bollywood actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, Malaika Arora, and Lara Dutta attended the men's javelin throw final at the Paris Olympics on Thursday night.
Vicky Kaushal, Sunny Deol, and Kareena Kapoor, are among the celebrities, who have taken to social media to congratulate Neeraj Chopra for the silver medal win.
For the unversed, Neeraj had returned with a gold medal from the previous Olympics held in Tokyo in 2021.
In a video shared by a paparazzo account, Malaika Arora was seen seated inside the venue. She was dressed in a matching beige outfit and a hat. After Neeraj's silver medal, Malaika also took to her Instagram Stories and posted his clip. She wrote, "What a proud moment for my India. And to witness it live @neeraj_chopra."

Lara Dutta shared a series of pictures as she attended the Paris Games. She was accompanied by her husband Mahesh Bhupathi, daughter Saira and their friends. Sharing a photo with Mahesh and Saira on her Instagram Stories, she wrote, "What a nite!!! #India #Olympics."
In another post, she wrote, "An incredible experience and an incredible night to cheer on our champ @neeraj____chopra !!!"

For the unversed, Neeraj Chopra's best throw came on his second attempt. His 89.45m throw was his second-best performance, but it was not enough to retain his gold medal.
Neeraj Chopra has now become only the second male athlete to win two Olympic medals in an individual event.
India's medal tally has now risen to 5 at the Paris Olympics. Out of these five medals, four are bronze.
