Navigating the world of showbiz can be daunting, especially for young actors making their mark amidst constant comparisons and high expectations. For Palak Tiwari, who is part of Bollywood’s emerging generation, the key to staying grounded lies in focusing on the craft rather than the competition. In a recent interview with Mashable India, Palak Tiwari opened up about the pressure she faces being compared to contemporaries like Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, and Ibrahim Ali Khan – peers who entered the industry around the same time.

When asked how she handles such comparisons, Palak admitted that she tries not to let it get to her. “I try not to take any pressure because pressure acts as a hindrance when you are trying to do your best work. Also, I find acting, most therapeutic. It has been my childhood dream to be an actor,” she said.

She acknowledged that people will inevitably talk and compare, but said she prefers to keep her focus on what she loves most – acting.

“I am most happy when I am in front of the camera. I am content that I am able to fulfil my dreams, so why should I think about anyone else? People will talk, and it will come to me later, but that can all be handled. For now, I am happy that I am acting,” Palak Tiwari shared.

Palak Tiwari also spoke about her relationship with her peers, sharing that they often connect at parties and talk openly about their shared struggles.

“Everyone is on their journey. Everyone is going through a challenging time because it is hard to make a name for yourself at such a young age. We are all finding ourselves as performers, even Bollywood is reshaping its future, but I am sure we will figure it out,” the Bollywood actress said.

Palak Tiwari was last seen in 'The Bhootnii', which released last month. The film starred an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Sunny Singh, Aasif Khan, and Beyounick.

Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev and produced by Deepak Mukut and Sanjay Dutt, the film tanked at the box office and received negative reviews from critics.
