Palak Tiwari shared a new photo dump from her recent getaway.

Bollywood actress Palak Tiwari has hit pause on the city, and her latest Instagram carousel is the proof. The actress dropped a sprawling photo dump from a wilderness break, keeping the caption as breezy as the trip itself – “Adoring the menuuu” – with tags for Tipai Wildlife Luxuries and chef Amninder Sandhu. The post has already crossed 38,000 likes with over 160 comments, and Sandhu himself dropped in to reply with a red heart.

The opening frame set the tone. Palak was seated at a table tucked under a thick canopy of creepers, chin resting on both hands, eyes drifting off-camera in a look that is one part daydream, one part hunger pang.

A terracotta-pink plate, a jute placemat and a lone spoon sat in front of her. She was dressed in a vivid abstract-print halter dress – think brushstrokes of orange, emerald, cobalt and magenta – with a dainty silver bracelet watch and delicate hoops as the only jewellery.

From there, the dump turned into a proper travel diary. There was a mirror selfie with her travel companion in a rustic bathroom, all raw stone basin and a curved wooden-framed mirror, Palak pouting into her phone. Another frame caught her in the back of an open safari gypsy, hair pushed back mid-ride, the forest trail blurring behind her. Elsewhere she was leaning over a wooden balcony railing that overlooks a still, reed-fringed lake – shot from behind, hair caught mid-flick.

The heart of the carousel, though, was the food. Several frames documented a hands-on pizza-making session on a flour-dusted counter with the woods opening up beyond the railing. Palak and her friend were seen stretching dough and laughing, then posing cheekily with black olives balanced on their fingertips beside a finished, cheese-piled base. A flat-lay shot showed the raw pizza in all its glory – tomato sauce, a mix of white and cheddar-toned cheese, olives arranged in a ring. Two more images followed the pizza to its destination: Palak in silhouette, wielding a long wooden peel at the mouth of a wood-fired oven with a chef assisting, and then the pizza itself blistering on the oven floor beside a roaring stack of burning logs.

The rest was unhurried holiday texture. She sipped a chilled orange-hued drink at a candle-dim table, a compact camera lying beside her. In another, she held up a Canon point-and-shoot with the flash firing straight into the lens, grinning with her chin propped up. There were two moody balcony portraits shot against a papaya-tree kitchen garden and an overcast sky, a scrunched-nose close-up under woven lanterns, and a quiet shot of an empty vine-draped dining pavilion waiting for guests.

Two frames gave away where she really was: a green parakeet perched on a bare branch, captured through the circular viewfinder of a spotting scope, and a dark-winged, white-spotted butterfly resting on a broad leaf. For the record, Tipai sits in Tipeshwar, Maharashtra – a forest lodge whose restaurant, Palaash, is helmed by Amninder Sandhu and built around live-fire, hyperlocal cooking.

For the unversed, Palak, daughter of television star Shweta Tiwari, made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’. She was last seen alongside Sanjay Dutt and Mouni Roy in ‘The Bhootnii’.
