Lakshya, Ananya Panday To Star In Dharma Productions’ New Love Story ‘Chand Mera Dil’
Lakshya and Ananya Panday will be starring in Dharma Productions’ new love story ‘Chand Mera Dil’.
Get ready to witness a fresh pairing on screen! Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is known for creating uber-popular love stories. Rom-coms like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘2 States’, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, and ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, have all been bankrolled by Karan Johar's production house. Dharma Productions is now coming out with yet another love story titled ‘Chand Mera Dil’. The upcoming film will star Lakshya and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. The announcement was made by Karan Johar on Instagram.
Sharing four posters of the upcoming romantic movie, Karan Johar wrote, “We have two chands ready to bring an intense & passionate love story like no other!!! Pyaar mein thoda paagal hona hi padta hai.. Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday & Lakshya. Directed by Vivek Soni. Coming to cinemas in 2025.”

‘Chand Mera Dil’ will be directed by Vivek Soni, while Dharma Productions will bankroll the project. The film is currently slated to release in cinemas in 2025.
On Wednesday evening, Karan Johar had teased the announcement of the film, writing, “Love …. Pyar…. Ishq … Mohabbat…We @dharmamovies have always told love stories with passion and compassion…. We try and tell love stories that deeply resonate with an audience and also entertain them with music that is everlasting … After a while we are back with a love story with a young cast and we are over the “moon”….Watch this space … we announce our new labour of love at 1.30 pm tomorow.”

For the unversed, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions launched both the film careers of Lakshya and Ananya Panday.
Lakshya had made his film debut earlier this year with ‘Kill’, while Ananya Panday had made her debut with 'Student of the Year 2'.
Meanwhile, Ananya Panday was last seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s recently released Netflix film ‘CTRL’. The suspense thriller was lauded by critics and fans like.
Earlier this year, Ananya Panday was also seen in the Hindi web series ‘Call Me Bae’.
