'The Great Indian Kapil Show' is back! Comedian Kapil Sharma is here with the second season of his Netflix series. In the latest entertainment news, actors Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina, 'Jigra' director Vasan Bala and producer Karan Johar will be gracing the second season premiere of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'. Netflix India on Wednesday shared a promo of the upcoming episode, and it is all things fun. The promo opens with Kapil Sharma asking Karan Johar, "Sir aapko kya dikhta hai Alia main? Ek friend, daughter, phoofi?"
To this, Karan Johar replied, "Yehi meri pehli beti hai."

In the promo, when Karan Johar said that he has played a matchmaker for several people, but he is the single one, Kapil Sharma replied, "Halwai khud apni mithai nahi khaata."
When prompted by Kiku Sharda, Alia Bhatt also recreated her famous dialogue from 'Gully Boy', saying, "Mere boyfriend ke saath koi gulu gulu karenga toh dhoptuingi hi na usko."
For the unversed, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Vedang Raina and Vasan Bala, made an appearance at the show, to promote their upcoming film 'Jigra', which is slated to release in cinemas on October 11, 2024.
‘Jigra’ marks the first collaboration between Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, who made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, which premiered on Netflix last year.
The upcoming Hindi movie is directed by Vasan Bala, who has earlier helmed projects like 'Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota', and 'Monica, O My Darling'. Both these movies received critical acclaim.
'Jigra' is being produced by Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, and Somen Mishra.
