Kangana Ranaut Labels Young Hindu Women “Generation Gutter” In Controversial Post
Kangana Ranaut has sparked controversy after calling a section of “westernised Indian women” the “generation gutter” while arguing that an independent life must come with accountability.
Kangana Ranaut has never been one to mince her words, and the actress-politician is once again making headlines for stirring up a massive controversy on social media. On Monday evening, Kangana Ranaut took to her Instagram Stories to unleash a scathing critique aimed at a specific demographic she describes as a trend of “westernised Indian women.” In her latest unapologetic outburst, she primarily targeted young Hindu women, accusing them of demanding societal rights while completely avoiding the responsibility and accountability that comes with it.

In the fiery social media post, Kangana Ranaut did not hold back her opinions, stating directly, “Most appalling is the behaviour of young Hindu women, who want to imitate the lives of independent career women. without earning that freedom.” The actress went on to introduce a controversial new moniker for this demographic, declaring, “Here is a new generation of so called westernised Indian women. I call them generation gutter.”
Taking her critique a step further, she painted a harsh picture of the lifestyle she believes these young women are leading. According to Kangana, this group feels entitled to an autonomous lifestyle on their parents' dime. She wrote, “Some of them have nothing to offer to the system they are not good at studies but they are so ugly and corrupt that they can't be home makers either but they proudly flaunt their freedom to have drugs, drinks or endless body counts and shamelessly live off their patents earnings and constantly fight to live independent lives without actually being independent.”

To contrast this "generation gutter," the politician highlighted what she believes constitutes a genuinely empowered individual. She offered high praise for women who have actually achieved financial and personal autonomy. “Women who are truly independent they make rebellious choices. Bold opinions. Unconventional career moves and they take accountability for their actions," she explained. "They have to cos they are on their own. They don't do this at the cost of their parents or families.”
Kangana Ranaut wrapped up her explosive Instagram note with what she sarcastically termed a “gentle reminder” for her followers. She stated, "Independent life needs to be earned. If you try to live independent without accountability you are just a distorted entity. Gutter chap.”
This latest rant comes just days after Kangana Ranaut made highly publicized comments regarding the viral Gen Z protest reels that surfaced across social media following the recent NEET exam paper leak incident. After viewing the protest clips, the Bollywood actress expressed that the videos left her needing “some healing” and a “digital detox.” Those remarks also ignited considerable debate online, as she boldly stated, “You call yourself cockroaches and look/behave like them as well... there is no paradox or juxtaposition there, just simply subjecting the world to your filth, garbage and ugliness. I am scarred from these reels, need some healing, digital detox.”

Her latest cinematic venture was the film ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’. Directed by Manoj Tapadia, the project was based on the gripping true story of the dedicated nurses and staff at Cama Hospital who heroically saved the lives of patients during the devastating 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks.
