The release date of Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Naila Grrewal and Jibraan Khan’s upcoming film ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ has been announced.
‘Ishq Vishk’, which marked the Bollywood debut of Shahid Kapoor, released in 2003. The coming-of-age romantic comedy film, directed by Ken Ghosh, also starred Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasury. The 2003 Bollywood movie received mixed reviews from critics but became popular, especially among the youth audience. Shahid Kapoor's performance was praised, and the film also contributed to his popularity in Bollywood. ‘Ishq Vishk’ is remembered for its catchy music, with songs like ‘Aankhon Ne Tumhari’, ‘Aisa Kyun Hota Hai’, ‘Chot Dil Pe Lagi’, ‘Dooba Re Dooba’ and more.
21 years later, ‘Ishq Vishk’ is coming back with an all-new cast. The upcoming movie, starring Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Naila Grrewal and Jibraan Khan, is titled ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’. It is set to release in theatres on June 21, 2024.
Rohit Saraf, who has appeared in projects like ‘Mismatched’, ‘The Sky Is Pink’, ‘Ludo’ and more, took to Instagram and shared a fresh poster of ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’. He captioned the post, “Re-directing you to the official season of #PyaarKaSecondRound #IshqVishkRebound.”

The upcoming Hindi movie was previously slated to release on June 28. ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ is one of the most anticipated films and has been in the making after nearly two decades.
Earlier in a conversation with News18 Showsha, Rohit Saraf spoke about ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ and shared that he is not nervous about the film.
He had said, “I am actually very excited. Nervousness comes in just before a project is about to drop, but before that, there is just a ton of excitement. I am really looking forward to it. I feel like it is something that audiences will enjoy. My audience will enjoy.”
The Bollywood actor also revealed that he will not be stepping into Shahid Kapoor’s shoes for the movie. He made it clear that the two movies have nothing in common except for their names.
“I am not stepping into Shahid (Kapoor)’s shoes. The only thing that the two films, Ishq Vishk and Ishq Vishk Rebound, hold in common is just the name. It is the franchise that is common. It is not stepping into anybody’s shoes. It is a very different story. It is a story about new-age love. It is a story about love and friendship in today’s world, in 2023,” Rohit Saraf added.
‘Ishk Vishk Rebound’ is produced by Ramesh Taurani of Tips Films. It is directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari.
