Kiara Advani, who is arguably one of the prettiest Indian actresses currently, made her acting debut with the 2014 film ‘Fugly’ and rose to fame with the hit movie ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. She has since showcased her acting chops in movies like ‘Kabir Singh’, ‘Good Newwz’, ‘Shershaah’, ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, and ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’. Apart from her versatile performances, Kiara Advani is also known for her stunning sense of style that effortlessly blends sophistication with a touch of edginess. She often embraces bold and vibrant colours, making a statement with her choices.

Now, Kiara Advani is all set to represent India at the prestigious 77th Cannes Film Festival, which begins on Tuesday in Cannes, France. As per reports, she will be attending the Red Sea Film Foundation's Women in Cinema Gala dinner at Cannes 2024.

The event, hosted by Vanity Fair, will celebrate six women from around the world for their significant contributions to the entertainment industry.

Variety also reported that four-panel discussions will take place at Cannes Film Festival 2024 and will be held at La Plage Des Palmes on May 18. Kiara Advani is set to participate in one of the panel discussions.

The Cannes 2024 is taking place at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres in France. ‘The Second Act’, directed by French filmmaker Quentin Dupieux, has been selected as the opening film for this year's festival.

This year's Cannes will feature a strong representation of India. Payal Kapadia's film ‘All We Imagine As Light’ has been selected for the Main competition, marking the first time in 30 years that an Indian film is competing for the Palme d'Or.

Meanwhile, the Indian feature film ‘Tara: The Lost Star’, directed by Samten Bhutia, has been chosen for market screening (Marché du Film). Other Indian entries include ‘The Shameless’ and ‘Santosh’, both a part of Un Certain Regard.

This year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aditi Rao Hydari will also attend at the Cannes Film Festival. They will return to the starry international event as ambassadors for L'Oreal. Additionally, Sobhita Dhulipala will also attend, reportedly representing an ice cream brand.

Social media creators RJ Karishma, Nancy Tyagi, Niharika, Ankush Bahuguna, and Vitiligo are also set to attend the Cannes Film Festival 2024.

The 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival is scheduled to take place from May 14 to May 25. India is set to host a ‘Bharat Parv’ at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. It will be for the first time that the country will host a Bharat Parv at the Cannes Film Festival to engage with film celebrities, filmmakers, directors, producers, buyers and sales agents from across the world.

Meanwhile, on the film front, Kiara Advani was last seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in the 2023 romantic drama film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’.

Kiara Advani’s upcoming projects include ‘Game Changer’ alongside Ram Charan, ‘War 2’ with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, and ‘Don 3’ featuring Ranveer Singh.
