Is ‘Jawan’ director Atlee collaborating with Salman Khan? Arbaaz Khan cleared the air.
Ever since Atlee collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan for the 2023 blockbuster hit ‘Jawan’, rumours are rife that the ace director will soon be collaborating with Salman Khan. There were several reports stating that Atlee met with Salman Khan and his brother, actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan. However, Arbaaz Khan has now finally cleared the air, saying he has never met Atlee, and people should stop speculating. In an interview with Mid-Day, when Arbaaz Khan was asked about the meeting with Atlee, he said, “It's just a rumour that Salman, Atlee and I have met. I've never met Atlee in my life.”
“I've never seen him, forget meeting him. Until you hear from the horse's mouth, you shouldn't believe (the rumours) too much,” he further said.
During the interview, Arbaaz Khan was also asked about the possibility of making ‘Dabangg 4’, despite ‘Dabangg 3’ not performing as well as the first two installments.
For the unversed, Abhinav Kashyap had helmed the first part, while Arbaaz Khan and Prabhu Deva directed the second and third parts, respectively.
“Right now, both of us are in the middle of our (upcoming projects). He has (to shoot) a film with Sajid Nadiadwala. Salman is certain that he wants to do Dabangg 4, as am I. We will do it when the time is right. I don't know if I will direct it. I would love to, but it hasn't been decided yet," Arbaaz Khan said.
On the work front, Arbaaz Khan was last seen in the 2023 film ‘Farrey’. Last year, he also married makeup artist Sshura Khan.
Speaking of Salman Khan, he was last seen in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ and ‘Tiger 3’. The actor also had a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’.
Salman Khan will next be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss’ next, which is slated to release in cinemas on Eid 2025.
