Bollywood superstar Salman Khan deleted his earlier post for Kiran Rao's directorial venture 'Laapataa Ladies'

In a matter of 15 hours, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has made two posts regarding Kiran Rao's directorial venture 'Laapataa Ladies'. But you know what the catch is? The 'Tiger 3' star has deleted his post, which he made on Wednesday evening, and in the latest entertainment news, he has shared a fresh post on Thursday afternoon. Salman Khan has now corrected a gaffe he ended up making on Wednesday. For the unversed, on Wednesday evening, Salman Khan congratulated Kiran Rao for 'Laapataa Ladies', however, he ended up mentioning the film as Kiran Rao's directorial "debut". 

It is common knowledge that Kiran's debut came way back in 2010 with 'Dhobi Ghat. Salman Khan had even attended the 'Dhobi Ghat' celebration bash back in 2010.

"Just saw Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah Kiran. I really enjoyed it n so did my father. Congrats on your debut as a director, superb job. Kab kaam karogi mere saath," Salman Khan wrote on X on Wednesday. This post has now been deleted.

On Thursday afternoon, Salman Khan shared almost the same words, however, he decided to omit the "Congrats on your debut as a director, superb job" line.

Taking to X, Salman Khan wrote, "Just saw Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah Kiran. I really enjoyed it n so did my father. superb job. Kab kaam karogi mere saath."

When Salman Khan shared his message on Wednesday, netizens had quite a blast, and there were several memes regarding the same.

Speaking of ‘Laapataa Ladies’, the movie is set in 2001 and it is a story about two young brides who get separated during a train journey.

Presented by Jio Studios, the film has been produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions.'

Speaking of Salman Khan, he has confirmed his collaboration with ‘Ghajini’ director AR Murugadoss. The film, backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, will be releasing in cinemas next year.
