Internet Roasts Kangana Ranaut For Asking Why Rahul Gandhi Is Leader Of Opposition
Kangana Ranaut is being roasted on social media for her latest comment on Rahul Gandhi.
Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie 'Emergency'. However, her recent remark on Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, is now going viral on social media, and netizens are not too pleased with it. For the unversed, during an interview with News 24, Kangana Ranaut asked a senior journalist “on what basis, did Rahul Gandhi get this upalabdhi", while referring to his position as LoP. While speaking to the journalist, Kangana Ranaut said, "Opposition leader karne k liye unhone kya teer mara hai." To this, the journalist replied that he secured 99 seats in the Lok Sabha Polls 2024.
However, Kangana was left irritated with this response, and she replied, "Theek hai agar aapko aese baat karni hai toh phir uska koi jawab ho hi nahi sakta."

Speaking of 'Emergency', the film is slated to release in cinemas on September 6, 2024. 'Emergency' also stars Anupam Kher, the late Satish Kaushik, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman.
The movie has been directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut. It has been backed by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films.
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in ‘Tejas’. The film, which clashed with Vikrant Massey’s ‘12th Fail’ in October 2023, tanked miserably at the box office.
