Just when you thought the promotional campaign for Shahid Kapoor’s gritty new underworld drama ‘O Romeo’ couldn't get any more electric, the Kapoor brothers decided to drop a dance bomb on social media. On the eve of the film’s grand theatrical release, Shahid Kapoor teamed up with his younger brother, the equally fleet-footed Ishaan Khatter, for a fun and energetic dance video that has officially set the internet on fire. Dancing to the infectious beats of ‘Paan Ki Dukaan’, the duo proved once again why they are considered the ultimate dancing siblings of Bollywood.

Check out the video here:

The 44-second clip, which has already garnered millions of views, started with a playful vibe. Both brothers were seen in a synchronized look – rocking classic white t-shirts paired with faded blue denim jeans.

The video kicked off with Shahid giving a sharp, intense look to the camera before Ishaan entered the frame, bringing his signature infectious energy. As the high-tempo beats of the song – composed by Vishal Bhardwaj and sung by the legendary Sukhwinder Singh – kicked in, the brothers broke into a perfectly choreographed routine.

From the sharp shoulder shrugs to the complex footwork, the chemistry was palpable. At one point, Ishaan was seen holding a red bandana, a nod to the street-style tapori vibe of the song, using it as a prop to accentuate his moves. They transitioned effortlessly from intense face-offs to grinning at each other mid-step, showcasing a bond that is full of brotherly love. The video concluded with the two of them walking off-camera, laughing – a stark contrast to the dark, violent world Shahid inhabits in the movie.

The song itself ‘Paan Ki Dukaan’ is rapidly climbing the charts. With lyrics penned by the maestro Gulzar, it captures the raw, energetic essence of Vishal Bhardwaj’s cinematic universe. It’s a massy track that blends traditional folk elements with a modern, gritty edge – perfectly suited for Shahid’s character, Hussain Ustara, a man caught between the crossfires of love and the underworld.

The industry was quick to react to this powerhouse performance. None other than the ‘Greek God of Bollywood’ and dance icon Hrithik Roshan was among the first to comment, simply stating, "Love it!" with a heart and fire emoji.

Fans, however, had the best descriptions. The comment section was flooded with the phrase “Do Bhai Dono Tabahi”, a testament to the sheer impact of their combined screen presence. Other fans noted that Ishaan, despite being the younger one, gave Shahid “stiff competition,” while others praised Shahid for looking better than ever at the start of 2026.

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, ‘O Romeo’ is a dark, action-packed love story inspired by true events and Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’. The film, which hit theatres today, marks the fourth collaboration between Shahid and Bhardwaj after the critically acclaimed ‘Kaminey’, ‘Haider’, and ‘Rangoon’.

The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Disha Patani. Early reviews suggest that Shahid’s performance is his most intense yet.
