Ever since the movie premiered on Netflix, there have been rumours doing the rounds that Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina are dating each other. In the latest entertainment news, Vedang Raina however said that he and Khushi are just "good friends" and there is nothing more. For the unversed, Khushi Kapoor played the role of Betty in 'The Archies' while Vedang Raina portrayed Reggie.
"I am single right now. When the time is right, hopefully, that situation will change," Vedang Raina told Zoom.
When asked about the dating rumours with Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina replied, “We are really close friends. I have a really strong bond with her. We’ve known each other for so long, and we have connected on many things, starting from our taste in music.”
“Our friendship comes across in a way that people are going to perceive it in certain ways, but nothing more to it," he added.
Talking about Khushi Kapoor, the actress will be appearing on Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan' with her sister Janhvi Kapoor.
When KJo asked her about her relationship status with Vedang Raina, Khushi said, "You know that scene in Om Shanti Om, where a row of people saying ‘Om and I are just good friends’.”
As per several reports, Vedang Raina will be a part of Alia Bhatt's upcoming movie 'Jigra', directed by Vasan Bala.
For the unversed, 'The Archies' also marked the acting debut of Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's daughter Suhana Khan.
