Here's when 'Dunki' will release in theatres worldwide.

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dunki' is one of the most-anticipated movies of 2023, and the film marks the first collaboration between SRK and Rajkumar Hirani. The upcoming Hindi film also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles, and the movie is touted to be a drama based on illegal immigration. For a long time now, it was being anticipated that 'Dunki' will be clashing with 'Salaar' after the makers of Prabhas-led film announced that their project will be releasing in theatres on December 22, 2023.

In the latest entertainment news, Shah Rukh Khan shared a fresh poster of 'Dunki', saying the first song titled 'Lutt Putt Gaya', will be releasing on November 22, 2023. The poster features Taapsee Pannu and Shah Rukh Khan.

However, the biggest talking point from the poster is the release date of 'Dunki'. The Rajkumar Hirani will now be releasing in theatres worldwide on December 21, 2023, a day prior to the release of 'Salaar'.

This means while there will still be a box-office clash between ‘Dunki’ and ‘Salaar’, the two movies will not be releasing on the same day, as previously reported.

'Dunki' is the third release of SRK in 2023 after 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'. The expectations from 'Dunki' are very high at this point after 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan' turned out to be Rs 1,000 worldwide grossers each.

On November 2, 'Dunki' teaser titled 'Dunki Drop 1' was released. The clip was unveiled on the occasion of SRK's birthday.

In the ‘Dunki’ teaser, we were shown how the characters of SRK, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal want to go to London, and there are some hardships along the way.

For the unversed, Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment with Rajkumar Hirani Films and Jio Studios.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in 'Jawan', and the Atlee-directorial which also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, is currently the highest-grossing Hindi film of all-time. Across all languages, 'Jawan' has made more than Rs 600 crore in India.

SRK was first seen in 'Pathaan' this year, and the Siddharth Anand-directorial also collected more than Rs 500 crore at the domestic box office. SRK is the only Indian actor to deliver two Rs 1,000 crore global grossers in a single calendar year.

After 'Dunki', SRK will be seen in a film with his daughter Suhana Khan. The project is titled 'King', and it is being directed by Sujoy Ghosh, as per reports.
