Diljit Dosanjh No Longer Part Of ‘No Entry 2’, Boney Kapoor Confirms His Exit
Boney Kapoor has confirmed Diljit Dosanjh’s exit from ‘No Entry 2’ due to date clashes, as the actor-singer is gearing up for his Aura Tour 2025.

Speculation around singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh’s association with ‘No Entry 2’ has finally been put to rest. Earlier in May, reports suggested that the singer-actor had walked out of the project due to creative differences. However, producer Boney Kapoor had clarified at the time that the matter was only related to scheduling conflicts. Now, in a recent interview with NDTV, Boney Kapoor has officially confirmed Diljit Dosanjh’s exit from the film.
‘No Entry 2’, which was expected to go on floors in October 2025, had announced a new cast featuring Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh. With Diljit’s departure, the film will now move ahead without him.
Explaining the situation, Boney Kapoor told NDTV, “Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements. Hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together.”
For now, Diljit Dosanjh seems focused on his flourishing music career. The star recently unveiled his Aura Tour 2025 for Australia and New Zealand. The tour will kick off on October 26 in Sydney, covering Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth, before wrapping up on November 13 in Auckland.
At a recent event, Boney Kapoor had acknowledged a lingering regret – being unable to bring back the original trio of Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan.
Speaking candidly, he said, “Yeh humara loss hai that we could not retain the same star cast. We waited for almost 8 to 10 years but somehow things didn’t happen. We will miss them. And now we are trying to give a fresh start with a younger lot of actors. But at the same time, we will miss Salman, we will miss Anil and Fardeen. They were the original three boys in No Entry. And they were most loved.”
The original ‘No Entry’ (2005), directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, remains one of Bollywood’s most popular comedy-dramas. Starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitly, it was a box office hit known for its hilarious one-liners and ensemble chemistry.
While the sequel is still in development with a younger cast, Diljit Dosanjh has a packed slate ahead. Apart from his music commitments, he will also be seen in ‘Border 2’ alongside Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty. Directed by Anurag Singh and penned by Nidhi Dutta, the film is slated for release on January 22, 2026.
