In the latest entertainment news, in a list compiled by Forbes with the help of IMDb, mom-to-be Deepika emerged as the highest-paid actress in India, with a reported fees of Rs 15-30 crore per movie.
In the list, Deepika is followed by Kangana as the latter charges somewhere between Rs 15-27 crore per movie.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas is at the third spot with a reported fees of Rs 15-25 crore, per project.
Katrina Kaif is in fourth spot as the 'Tiger 3' actress is reported to charge Rs 15-25 crore per movie. Alia Bhatt is on the fifth spot with a reported asking amount of Rs 10-20 crore per film.
Others on the list include Kareena Kapoor Khan (Rs 8-18 crore), Shraddha Kapoor (Rs 7-15 crore) and Vidya Balan (Rs 8-14 crore).
The list concludes with Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jod'i star reportedly charges Rs 8-12 crores a film while the 'Ponniyin Selvan' star asks for Rs 10 crores per film, as per the report.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, alongside Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. Deepika will also feature in Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer ‘Singham Again’.
Apart from Deepika Padukone, ‘Singham Again’ will also star Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Recently, it was announced that 'Singham Again' will release in cinemas worldwide on Diwali 2024.
