‘Kalki 2898 AD’, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani, is one of the most awaited Indian movies of 2024. Fans cannot wait for the film to be released in cinemas on June 27, 2024. Ahead of the upcoming sci-fi action movie’s release, the makers held an event on Wednesday evening in Hyderabad to introduce Prabhas’ sidekick Bujji, in the film. For the unversed, Bujji is a futuristic car from his upcoming movie. During the event, while speaking to the crowd, Prabhas said that he is grateful for the opportunity to work with actors like Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan.

The makers on Wednesday evening also unveiled a teaser, giving fans a glimpse into the banter between Prabhas’ character and his sarcastic, AI-powered car at the battlefield.

Earlier, Telugu superstar Rana Daggubati had termed ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ as India's “avengers” moment.
During a podcast with Vamshi Kurapati, Rana Daggubati said, “The next big moment is Kalki. Nag Ashwin is a very dear friend. Not just India and the Indian diaspora but everyone in the world will connect to Kalki. For a long time, I have been waiting for an Avengers moment from our side. That’s what has excited me to be part of it.”
The upcoming sci-fi dystopian film, directed by Nag Ashwin, has been bankrolled by C Aswani Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. The music for the film has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan.
Earlier, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was slated to be released in cinemas on May 9, 2024. But it has now been postponed to June 27, 2024. Reportedly, it is one of the costliest Indian films ever made.
