The collection of photos offered a detailed look at the breathtaking architecture and idols of the region. One striking image featured a massive statue of Lord Shiva in a meditative posture, towering against a clear, brilliant blue sky. The sheer scale of the statue highlighted the grandeur of the pilgrimage site.
Continuing the spiritual trail, Ananya Panday also shared a picture of a beautifully adorned Lord Hanuman statue, depicted carrying the Dronagiri mountain. The idol was draped in a bright orange cloth and decorated with thick marigold garlands, standing within a glass-encased shrine.
Ananya’s eye for detail was evident in her photos of the temple’s interiors. She shared a close-up of an intricately carved silver wall that featured Devanagari inscriptions mentioning “Shree Nageshwar Mahadev” and “Dwarka”. Another highlight was the stunning mirrored dome of one of the temple halls. The ceiling was a mosaic of reflective tiles, featuring symbols of the 12 Jyotirlingas, including Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Kedarnath, and Bhimashankar, all circling a golden central motif.
The pilgrimage wasn't a solo affair. Ananya shared a lovely group photo taken outside the main Shree Dwarkadhish Temple. Standing against the backdrop of the ancient stone spire topped with a fluttering saffron flag, Ananya was seen with her mother, Bhavana Pandey, and fashion designer Nandita Mahtani. All three women looked radiant in traditional Indian wear, carrying sacred scarves as they smiled for the camera.
In a car selfie, Ananya gave fans a close-up look at her post-pooja glow. With minimal makeup and her hair left loose, her forehead was marked with a prominent white and orange tripundra tilak, symbolizing her time spent in worship.
The Bollywood actress also captured the moment she entered the holy city, sharing a photo of the “Welcome to Dwarka” gate, also known as the ISKCON Gate. The gate was adorned with a colourful mural of Lord Krishna and Gopis, signalling the start of her spiritual retreat.
From the stacked offerings of colourful fabrics behind the deity to the serene selfie in her car, Ananya's photo dump provided a 360-degree view of her peaceful getaway.
