Amitabh Bachchan Holds Umbrella For Wife Jaya Bachchan As He Talks About Mumbai Rain
Amitabh Bachchan shared an adorable picture with Jaya Bachchan, as he penned a heartfelt note for Mumbai Rains.

Every year, the torrential rain in Mumbai ends up leaving a lasting impact on the city's infrastructure and daily life. The commuters face a lot of hurdles when rain lashes parts of Mumbai, and there is just no escaping the monsoon in Mumbai as the city that never sleeps comes to a standstill. In the latest entertainment news, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has expressed his concern over the flash floods in Mumbai. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), he shared an adorable picture with wife Jaya Bachchan, in which he can be seen holding an umbrella for her as they stroll in the rain.
In the picture, Jaya Bachchan can also be seen holding a box of laddoos. "T 5074 – …. and the rain it raineth every day .. even on set at work," he wrote as the caption.

Further speaking about monsoon in Mumbai, on his blog, Amitabh Bachchan said, “And the rain it raineth all day long.. on the work too .. umbrellas galore among all the artists as they wade through the waters .. and most of them enjoying the deed,” he wrote.
“It is the blessing after the hot summer months.. but apart from the awaited agriculture.. it brings devastation and floods, ruining the landscape and causing the pain that they who suffer go through .. each year the scenario keeps repeating itself.. sad .. helpless," he added.
Concluding his post, Big B wrote, “It is difficult to describe the ruin caused.. but we pray that all gets well and in the wellness of all .. our prayers.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently basking in the success of his latest venture 'Kalki 2898 AD', which also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani.
The new pan-India film directed by Nag Ashwin, is nearing the Rs 600 crore mark in India. Globally, the film has gone past the Rs 1,000 crore mark, as per the makers.
