Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is celebrating his 57th birthday today, and on his special day, the actor took to social media to announce an upcoming project of his. In the latest entertainment news, Akshay Kumar is all set to collaborate with director Priyadarshan after a gap of 14 years. Akshay Kumar will be playing the main role in the horror-comedy 'Bhooth Bangla', which is set to release in cinemas in 2025. Akshay Kumar also shared a motion poster of the upcoming film. In the poster, a cat can be seen sitting on Akshay’s shoulders. The actor can also be seen licking milk from a bowl. In the backdrop, we can also see a haunted house.

For the unversed, Akshay Kumar has starred in several Priyadarshan films such as 'Hera Pheri', 'Garam Masala', 'Bhagam Bhag', and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'.
On the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in 'Khel Khel Mein', alongside Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, Fardeen Khan, and Vaani Kapoor.
He was also seen in a cameo appearance in Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's 'Stree 2'.
