Jigri Dost is a 1969 Hindi-language musical comedy film directed by Ravikant Nagaich. It follows the story of a rustic cattle-rearer who gets mistaken for a wealthy attorney. The film stars Jeetendra, Mumtaz, and Poonam Sinha (credited as Komal). It is a remake of the 1966 Kannada film Emme Thammanna.

Synopsis
Gopi (Jeetendra) is an innocent and rustic farmer who deeply loves his cattle and considers them divine. When he visits a lawyer's home, he is completely mistaken for Anand, a wealthy attorney who is engaged to the lawyer's beautiful daughter, Shobha. Complications arise when the real Anand appears, leading to the revelation that they look remarkably like twins. They agree to switch places to outwit the cruel and corrupt municipal chairman, Neelkanth, who is exploiting the town and plotting illegal activities.
